The Indiana Fever snapped a two-game losing streak with a big 113-90 win over the Chicago Sky.
Caitlin Clark led the way with 37 points to extend her WNBA record for the most games with at least 30 points and 10 assists (five). Kelsey Mitchell also extended a record of her own by recording her 23rd consecutive 20+ point game.
Stephanie White's team went off in the second half to eliminate the Sky from playoff contention, once again thanks to their elite scoring tandem.
That's why, following one of the best games of her career, Clark gave Mitchell her flowers for making her life much easier.
“I think it takes the pressure off me a lot, especially in moments like this. Like, you get tired when the game’s played at the pace that it is, and, you know, you can hit her on a cut, you can give her the ball in an iso situation,” Clark said.
"She just makes it so easy for me in the backcourt."

Mitchell got off to a slow start to the game, scoring just seven points in the first half before going off for 23 points in the second.
She finished the game with 30 points on 10-of-19 from the floor to go along with six three-pointers and four assists.
“Like, she just makes it so easy for me in the backcourt, and she obviously, like, pulls the defense to her quite a bit. So just try to find her the most I can, and I think she had seven points at halftime, so 23 in the second half is pretty incredible. And, like, it’s just like nobody like Bats and I. Like, I don’t think people understand how hard that is to do, and she just does it consistently on a night-to-night basis. So it’s been fun to get to see up close,” she added.
The Fever have the deadliest scoring duo in the league, and both have made a legitimate case for MVP.
However, they'll set their sights on a more important prize first: clinching a playoff spot.
