Power rankings for the Tour Championship: Who will wear the $10 million crown?

It all comes down to this. The top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings have advanced to the Tour Championship, and the winner at East Lake Golf Club will take home the FedEx Cup title and the $10 million prize. With the best players on the PGA Tour preparing for battle, let's power rank the top 10 contenders at the Tour Championship.

10. Collin Morikawa

Morikawa is coming off a solid week at the BMW Championship in which he finished T4 and gained strokes in all four major categories, but he hasn't been consistent enough this season to warrant a higher ranking.

9. Matt Fitzpatrick

After leading the PGA Tour with three wins in the regular season, Fitzpatrick has sputtered down the stretch. The Englishman has lost strokes on approach in two of his last three starts after gaining strokes in 16 of his first 17 events.

8. Tommy Fleetwood

Fleetwood finished T47 in the 50-man BMW Championship last week, but that doesn't erase the eight top-15 finishes he recorded in his previous nine starts. The reigning champion could easily go back-to-back at East Lake.

7. Chris Gotterup

Gotterup had a career year in 2026 that included three wins and 11 total top-20 finishes. Coming off his best putting performance of the season at the BMW Championship, the American hopes his hot flatstick carries over to the Tour Championship.

6. Xander Schauffele

Even though 2026 was a down year for Schauffele, he deserves a high ranking based solely on his stellar course history here. In eight career starts at East Lake, Schauffele has a win and seven top-five finishes.

5. Patrick Cantlay

Cantlay is the hottest ball-striker on the planet, as he's gained a whopping 22.48 true strokes on approach over his last 12 rounds. He's playing his best golf of the season at the perfect time.

4. Sam Burns

Burns has been in contention on Sunday in four of his last seven starts. The 30-year-old is going to return to the winner's circle soon, and this might just be the week.
