Caitlin Clark accomplishes WNBA first with consecutive big games

No stranger to setting records and making history, Caitlin Clark did it again on Friday 

night. The Indiana Fever guard and arguably the face of the league, accomplished a first in WNBA history while helping her team beat the Connecticut Sun, 111-91. 

Caitlin Clark repeated production that made WNBA history 

As is often the case, Clark led both teams in minutes played, but also made the most of her time on the court. She scored 34 pints in 34 minutes, going 12-of-19 from the field and 6-of-12 from three. 

Clark also recorded 12 assists and five rebounds. She even had three steals in the game. And with similar production in her last game prior to Friday, Clark's consistency placed her name in the WNBA record books. 

Caitlin Clark keeps making history 

Clark, who put up 37 points and 10 assists on Aug. 23, became the first player in league history with consecutive games with 30-plus points and at least 10 assists. For a league that began play in 1997, Clark, not any of the great players who came before her, has the most versatile and dynamic back-to-back games ever played, at least total production-wise.
