The 'Season triple-double record by team' quiz

Following one season out of the NBA, former first-overall draft pick and 2017-18 Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons is back. 

The 30-year-old is signing a one-year, $3.5 million contract  with the Sacramento Kings.

Simmons last played for the Los Angeles Clippers, appearing in 18 games for them after a midseason trade from Brooklyn in 2024-25. Between those squads, he averaged 5.0 points, 5.6 assists and 4.7 rebounds-per-game and apparently spent last year getting healthy. 

If the former LSU Tiger is able to competently run the Kings offense and defend while he’s on the floor, this has the potential to be a smart signing for a team not expected to compete for anything significant next year. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. When he’s on, Simmons has shown he has the ability to stuff the stat sheet, setting a Philadelphia 76ers single-season record with 12 triple-doubles in 2017-18.
