Tim Tebow has one big piece of advice for Arch Manning

To say that Arch Manning's first season as the Texas Longhorns' starter was disappointing wouldn't be fair.

He closed out the year on a high note and posted solid numbers overall; it was a matter of expectations rather than production.

Manning is one of the most-hyped players in college football history, and it was almost impossible to live up to the sky-high expectations.

That's why, now that he's back in college and looking to become the No. 1 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, CFB legend Tim Tebow urged him to focus on what he can control.

“I think it’s so important that you get rid of the noise around you,” Tebow said on the SEC Network. “Just focus on playing your game. Because when he does that, I really think he’ll be one of the best.”

Tebow also shared his two cents on the unmatched pressure Manning has been dealing with since last season.

He claimed he couldn't be a normal person because of the pressure to win the Heisman Trophy by a wide margin, and felt for Manning for having to carry pressure he didn't ask for:

“You can’t control who speaks about you, but you can control who speaks into you, and I really believe for Arch… and those have to be the voices that pour into him,” added Tebow.

At the end of the day, there's no team in the NFL that wouldn't roll the dice on the next Manning.

He may not be as NFL-ready as people thought last season, but the tape is impressive, and the potential is pretty evident.

Now, it's up to him to silence the critics and show that he's much more than the name on the back of his jersey.
