The New York Knicks are fresh off an NBA title, and now they are adding a former NBA champion to their roster.

On Wednesday, the Knicks made a series of moves, with the most notable one being the addition of Bruce Brown, who joins the team on an Exhibit 9 deal.

Brown was part of the Denver Nuggets team that won the NBA Finals in 2023. Brown then spent the 2023-24 season between the Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers, and the 2024-25 season between the Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans before returning to the Nuggets last season.

The Knicks also signed a handful of others to exhibit 9 deals, including former first-round pick James Wiseman.

Brown had been on the Knicks’ radar for some time, and Ben Simmons was also a player drawing interest before he signed a deal with the Sacramento Kings.

With the Exhibit 9 deal, it is a non-guaranteed deal for training camp, so Brown and others will be fighting for a roster spot.
