Despite the .500 record, Tebow and the Broncos hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round. That game ended with a Denver win on the first play of overtime and one of the most-talked about moments in Denver sports history.

The Broncos, by the way, were a nine-point underdog entering the game, making Tebow's ability to provide the miraculous play one of the greatest upsets in NFL postseason history.

The current Broncos are looking for answers after a 31-10 loss on Monday night, a game that quarterback Bo Nix described as "pretty pitiful."

That loss to Kansas City is being put under the microscope even more thanks to a brutal Broncos schedule to open the season. After this week's game against Jacksonville, the Broncos host the Los Angeles Rams, then travel to San Francisco to meet the 49ers. After that, Denver stays in California to take on the Los Angeles Chargers before heading home to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on a short week for Thursday Night Football.

But none of that can be the focus before Sunday's game. Tebow may be planting the flag before kickoff against Jacksonville, but Nix and the Broncos will have to create their own moment once the game begins.

There is, however, something fitting about Tebow returning to Denver for a game against Jacksonville. His Broncos career began with a loss to the Jaguars in 2010 before everything changed the following season.

So no, Tebow can't bring back 2011. But perhaps his return can serve as a reminder of what happened one time when Denver found itself searching for an answer ... and found one in a place nobody expected.
