In the bottom of the third inning of the National League Division Series opener, with his Milwaukee Brewers team down 2-0 to the San Diego Padres, Jackson Chourio crushed a pitch to deep left field.
Chourio's home run ignited the crowd, tied the game and made MLB postseason history all at the same time.
At just 22 years old, Chourio is in a three-way tie for the most playoff home runs before turning 23 in MLB history, according to MLB.com's Sarah Langs. His five playoff homers tie him with current Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber and New York Mets superstar outfielder Juan Soto.
And to enhance his early-career legacy even more, Chourio now has the most postseason home runs in Brewers franchise history.
So in only his third overall season and second playoff run, Chourio is already building an October resume that would make some legends of the game jealous.

He hit a career-high 25 home runs to go along with 75 RBI, 96 runs, 27 doubles and 23 steals in 2026.
Chourio even posted a slash line of .291/.351/.487 in 573 plate appearances and 522 at-bats this season, all big jumps across the board from his first two MLB campaigns.
