Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore is working his way back from a concussion that occurred in a scary scene against the USC Trojans in September.
With Oregon facing UCLA this weekend – the program that recruited Moore – there was an outside chance he would play. However, the latest reports indicate it will be Dylan Raiola as the QB, as Moore continues to work his way back.
Oregon star QB Dante Moore is currently considered unlikely to play against No. 21 UCLA this weekend as he continues to work back from the concussion he suffered vs. USC, sources tell @CBSSports. Leaves Dylan Raiola as the likely starter vs. UCLA. On a positive note with Moore, continues to practice and continues to progress working back from the concussion.

Moore was the victim of a late hit by USC linebacker Desman Stephen II, and the Ducks QB had to be taken off the field and to the hospital.
Moore only ended up suffering a concussion, although it looked much worse at the time, and Stephens was suspended for one game due to the hit.
The positive note, as Matt Zenitz reported, is that Moore is working his way back, so he should return at some point in the near future.
Moore, a five-star recruit coming out of high school, flipped his initial commitment from Oregon to UCLA in Dec. 2022.
After the 2023 season, Moore entered the transfer portal and wound up right back in Oregon. The Ducks QB entered 2026 with Heisman Trophy buzz, but right now, the focus is getting healthy and getting back on the field.
