Football tonight: Games on TV and a must-see matchup for Friday, Oct. 9

It's hard to believe, but college football is already heading into Week 6. Where did the time go? At this point, it's becoming obvious which teams are in a tight spot and may not get to a bowl game and which teams are thriving, but there's still enough time left to make magic happen.

Even though Saturdays are the big football days for college action, a handful of teams are getting an early start. So, let's get into the college football action on Friday, Oct. 9.

Must-see game for tonight: No. 20 Iowa at Washington

No. 20 Iowa will head to Washington for a matchup on Friday evening at Husky Stadium, and the game will be broadcast on FOX, so it's getting a big audience. Iowa has been performing exceptionally well this season, but in order to stay in the AP's Top 25, it will have to win games even against teams like Washington that aren't inside that Top 25 range. So, that makes this game important, even if it doesn't look that way on paper.
