Angel Reese sends special message to Dream fans before WNBA Finals

Atlanta fans, get ready because Angel Reese and the Dream have punched their ticket to the WNBA Finals after beating the New York Liberty in Game 3 of the semifinals on Friday night.

Reese is going through the third year of her career in the league, her first with the Dream. Following two shaky years with the Chicago Sky, Reese settled right in with Atlanta as she experienced her best season to date. Not only that, but she also helped Atlanta shine as one of the best teams in the entire league, securing her first playoff appearance.

The Dream are perfect after five playoff games, sweeping both the Washington Mystics and the Liberty in the first two rounds. This paved the way for Reese to get the chance to experience her first WNBA Finals. Speaking on the ESPN broadcast after the game, the star forward had a clear message for the Atlanta community.

“Atlanta, I can’t wait to see you in the Finals,” Reese said.
