The Baltimore Ravens made some costly drops and tried everything they could to lose to the Atlanta Falcons, but a late rib injury to Michael Penix Jr. and a flawless drive in the extra period set the stage for the Ravens to pick off backup Tua Tagovailoa and seal the 30-23 overtime win on "Sunday Night Football."
Here are some takeaways from Sunday's NFL nightcap.
For much of Sunday night's game against the Falcons, the Ravens were playing from behind due to costly mistakes and drops. That was especially evident on their second drive of the game when Falcons safety Jessie Bates III scooped up a Mark Andrews fumble and scored the game's first touchdown.

From that point forward, the Ravens trailed until the 14-play, 68-yard drive that took up 7:03 of game time in OT. That is when backup quarterback Tyler Huntley, who was subbing for the injured Lamar Jackson (left ankle), capped off the drive with a one-yard TD run.

Huntley was sensational in relief of Jackson, but so, too, was Baltimore's run game, which combined for 208 yards and a TD against Atlanta's league-leading rushing defense (48 YPG) entering the game.
The Falcons let the Ravens hang around long enough, and it came back to bite them as Baltimore found a way to come away with the road win with its starting QB on the sidelines.
Huntley has now won his last three starts in relief of Jackson, and he did it in clutch fashion once again. In addition to marching his team down the field on the game-winning drive in OT, Huntley led a six-play, 71-yard drive late in regulation and finished it off with a seven-yard TD pass to WR Devontez Walker before running back Derrick Henry converted the two-point attempt.

Huntley finished the game 24-of-32 for 201 yards with two TDs and zero interceptions, including a combined 11-of-12 in the fourth quarter and OT. Despite the inability to finish drives and have to settle for field goals in the first half, Huntley stepped up when his team needed him most and led the Ravens to the come-from-behind win to stun the Atlanta faithful.
Even after losing Penix on the final drive of regulation and falling behind in the extra frame, Tagovailoa had just converted a 20-yard pass to WR Drake London near midfield and had a chance to make his Falcons debut a memorable one.
Instead, he threw the game-ending pick to the Ravens safety on the next play and walked off the field in defeat.

It was a poor throw from Tagovailoa and never had a chance once it left his hand, but Hamilton was there to make the play and put the finishing touches on a thrilling comeback win on the road.
When interviewing the stars of the game following Baltimore's win, NBC Sports sideline reporter Melissa Stark presented them with celebratory robes, and Henry seemed to insist on taking a nap once he got on the plane.

After recording 102 yards on 24 carries and tying the game up late in regulation, Henry was instrumental in carrying his team to the win. Why not have some extra comfort to celebrate the victory on the way back home?
