The Detroit Lions are back and ready to climb back to the top of the NFC North. Well, Rome wasn't built in a day, but the Lions did inch one step closer to getting up in the NFC North on Sunday with a needed win over the Arizona Cardinals, 45-21.
That's not just winning a game. That's making a statement. The Cardinals are struggling this year and came into the game with a losing record, while the Lions were 2-2. The Cardinals also just traded one of their top players, Marvin Harrison Jr., but a win is a win.
Detroit also happened to make NFL history during the game, adding a little icing to the NFL cake.
According to ESPN Insights, the Lions have scored on seven straight drives Sunday, which is "the longest streak in the NFL this season."
The Lions scored on 7 straight drives Sunday, the longest streak in the NFL this season. Detroit is averaging 32.8 PPG this season, currently the most in the NFL. It's the second-most points they've scored through five games in franchise history, behind only last season (34.8 PPG)

After the Lions' loss last Sunday on "Sunday Night Football" to the Carolina Panthers, Campbell said they had to regroup.
"Let's look at it and let's get it fixed," Campbell said, according to ESPN. "But I know this: We go into panic mode when we've got 13 games left and we're 2-2, that's not the right thing to do. I just don't believe that. I never have. So, I know there's frustration and look, I'm frustrated. I know the players are frustrated."
It appears that frustration paid off. Now, the team heads into its bye week.
