Shohei Ohtani continues to look compromised out there.

The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Ohtani had another rough showing during Monday’s Game 2 of the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers. Ohtani once again went hitless (0-for-4) and struck out twice on the day.

During the sixth inning at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisc., Ohtani produced a particularly humiliating whiff. On a 1-2 pitch that was way outside from Milwaukee reliever JoJo Romero, Ohtani swung and missed and lost ahold of his bat in the process.

Here is the embarrassing video.

The four-time MVP Ohtani is now hitting 3-for-20 (.150) this postseason with zero extra base hits and seven total strikeouts. He is been hobbled by knee and biceps injuries for the last few weeks and months, apparently to the point that he looked more like Bartolo Colon at the plate in Game 2.

Milwaukee went on to defeat the Dodgers by a final of 7-4 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. If Ohtani, who has been all over the Dodgers’ lineup this postseason as a result of his struggles, does not figure things out quickly, his team will be in some real trouble (if they are not already).
