The Cleveland Browns have won yet another game, and they're 4-2 heading into their Week 7 game against the Tennessee Titans. Considering that the Titans are 1-5, one could say the Browns have a good chance to snag another win here, too.
It's a new look for a team that's used to, well, being near the bottom. Now, quarterback Deshaun Watson is getting cheers instead of boos, and he's bringing home wins to Cleveland.
The Browns have been performing so well that they've just received an added boost ahead of their Week 7 game. Watson got quite a bit of praise, too.
Bucky Brooks of Fox Sports has released his latest top 10 NFL power rankings following the Week 6 games. In them, he has the Browns in the top 10 for the first time.
"Winning ugly has become the standard in Cleveland under Todd Monken," Brooks said.
He also added that "Quarterback Deshaun Watson is becoming one of the league's best closers with four game-winning drives this season and a reel of late-game heroics that have skeptics and supporters alike singing his praises."
Finally, Brooks noted that with division wins under their belt and a "share of the division lead coming out of Week 6, the Browns' rebuild is ahead of schedule under Monken."
So, the Browns have a lot to be excited about going forward this season. The stars may finally be aligning for this franchise.
