Reese became the youngest player in league history to record three finals double-doubles. It came after she amassed 14 points and 12 rebounds in Game 1 and 30 points and 16 rebounds in Game 2.

“More history for Angel Reese: She is the youngest player (24 years & 168 days) in WNBA Finals history with three straight double-doubles. Just remarkable,” ESPN’s Alexa Philippou wrote.

The Dream will host Game 4 on Saturday at the same venue. They already stole homecourt advantage in Game 2 and now have an even stronger chance of securing the franchise’s first title.

However, it won’ be easy as the Valkyries have shown that they can rise above adversity. They also have a formidable roster led by Williams. The good news for Atlanta is Reese is not showing signs of slowing down any time soon and has been performing at her best in her first finals series.
