College football's craziness continues.
No. 2 BYU's unbeaten season is over after unranked UCF knocked off the Cougars 39-31 Saturday.
It was a crazy game that looked like UCF would win — twice — in regulation before the Knights stopped BYU's 4th-and-goal pass at UCF's 4-yard line to seal the victory.
The Cougars fall to 6-1 (3-1 Big 12) while UCF improved to 4-3 (2-2) with the biggest win in school history.

BYU's College Football Playoff hopes were dimmed a bit with the loss, which came just a week after BYU's upset win over then-No. 2 Notre Dame.
BYU came into the game favored by nearly a touchdown and with its highest AP poll ranking since its 1984 national championship season.
UCF's homecoming win means No. 10 Utah is the last unbeaten team in the Big 12 after No. 8 Texas Tech was also upset earlier in the day by unranked Cincinnati.
The Utes host No. 14 Houston later Saturday night.
College football's crazy week is starting to mirror the funhouse stuff of Week 7.
UCF had two opportunities late in the fourth quarter to go ahead of BYU. First, the Cougars stopped the Golden Knights at the 1-yard line with 1:47 to play.
BYU got the ball back with less than a minute to play, but UCF forced a three-and-out. Following the punt return, UCF drove down into BYU territory. But then UFC quarterback Keyone Jenkins lost the ball on a play that was ruled a sack on the field, but was overturned to an incomplete pass.
A play later, BYU was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct that put the ball at the Cougars' 28. With 11 seconds left, UCF kicker Will Stone tried a 47-yard field goal for the win.
BYU blocked it.
Off to overtime.
The Cougars struck first on Bear Bachmeier's 28-yard TD pass to Legend Glasker. UCF's Jenkins responded with a 25-yard TD pass to Josh Derry.
In the second OT, Jenkins found Grayson Brousseau for a four-yard TD. The Golden Knights converted the two-point conversion for a 39-31 lead.
Bachmeier's 4th-and-goal pass was incomplete, and the celebration was on.
UCF coach Scott Frost summed it up best: "That's the weirdest end of a game I have ever seen. I thought it would take 31 to win it. It should have if we (had gotten the 4-and-1) sneak in."
