Yaxel Lendeborg takes more shots at Luka Doncic after their beef

Yaxel Lendeborg is more than happy to keep on poking the bear.

The Golden State Warriors rookie forward Lendeborg spoke with reporters on Friday after his team’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. During his media session, Lendeborg was asked about his beef with Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic earlier this week and responded by taking more shots at Doncic.

“[People saying] I’m not supposed to talk to him,” said Lendeborg of Doncic. “I ain’t never been no hoe. Like, come on now. He’s gonna say what he wanna say, I’m gonna say what I wanna say.

“I’m not afraid to talk to nobody,” Lendeborg added. “He’s not Michael Jordan. Like, come on now.”

Lendeborg feuded on the court with Doncic earlier this week during the Lakers’ 127-105 win over the Warriors in their respective season openers. Golden State tasked Lendeborg with defending Doncic for a sizable chunk of the game, and Lendeborg made sure to get in plenty of trash talk in the process.

After the game, Lendeborg also called out Doncic for complaining to the referees throughout the contest. The feud even led to a response from Doncic’s ex-teammates, but Lendeborg has clearly decided to double down at this point.
