Jacob Misiorowski let it all out after helping the Milwaukee Brewers win their first-ever World Series title.
The Brewers ace Misiorowski got the victory in Game 5 of the World Series on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays to clinch the 2026 World Series championship for his team. Misiorowski went 5.2 scoreless innings and allowed just two hits and one walk as Milwaukee won by a final of 4-1 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
After the game, Misiorowski was interviewed on the field by FOX Sports’ Tom Verducci. Misiorowski was visibly emotional during the interview as he talked about what the win meant for the city of Milwaukee.
“Dammit, I’m getting emotional,” said Misiorowski as tears welled up in his eyes, causing him to wipe them away in the middle of the interview. Here is the video.

The righty flamethrower Misiorowski, 24, is now a World Series champion in just his second MLB season. It was a well-deserved honor too as Misiorowski looked like the best pitcher in baseball all year with a 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts (both of which led Major League Baseball).
Misiorowski faced some adversity during Wednesday’s game, leaving the game in the sixth inning due to a cramp and also dealing with mound drama throughout the contest. But he still managed to come up big when the Brewers had a World Series to clinch and has now officially cemented himself in Milwaukee lore forever.
