Jonathan Kuminga pulled a Victor Wembanyama during Wednesday’s game.

Kuminga and the Minnesota Timberwolves played Wednesday against Alperen Sengun and the Houston Rockets. In the second quarter at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, Sengun tried to score on Kuminga at the rim.

Sengun missed the shot though and Kuminga corralled the defensive rebound. After coming down with the ball, Kuminga reared back up and caught Sengun in the face with an elbow.

That then led to hostilities being exchanged between the two teams (with Rockets forward Kevin Durant coming in to confront Kuminga). Check out the video of the incident.

Upon review, Kuminga was given a flagrant 1 foul for the elbow to Sengun. That led to two free throws for Sengun, both of which he made.

The two-time NBA All-Star Sengun, 24, plays a very physical style inside and has drawn ire from other opponents in the past. On Wednesday, it was the former NBA champion Kuminga, also 24, who seemingly had enough of Sengun. That might not have been entirely surprising either as Kuminga has even had temper flare-ups in the middle of preseason games before.
