Draymond Green is making his thoughts on his teammate Kristaps Porzingis very clear.

The Golden State Warriors star Green spoke this week in an interview with Sam Amick of The Athletic. During the interview, Green touched on the situation of Warriors big man Kristaps Porzingis, who remains away from the team indefinitely due to a health issue.

“Since I’ve been here on this team, it’s never been about bickering, never about ‘Shame on this guy,’ ‘Shame on that guy,’” said Green. “We’ve never had that culture here. So the same goes for [Porzingis]. No one’s sitting around bashing this guy or even worried about him, for that matter. In our minds, we’ve moved forward with the players that we have here.

” I don’t think anyone in here is sitting around waiting on him to walk through that door,” Green added of Porzingis. “Everybody’s moved on in their mindset … It’s a next man up mentality, right? … You can’t sit and worry about spoiled milk.”

Porzingis, who is in his second year with the Warriors, had not played at all this season due to a flare-up of the “POTS” (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) issue that has plagued him for years now. But Green certainly sounds less than sympathetic about Porzingis’ health situation.

Green’s comments illustrate just how toxic the situation has gotten at this point between the seven-footer Porzingis and the Warriors. In fact, Golden State is actually even withholding payments from Porzingis right now due to a perceived failure to render services.
