Known affectionately as 'Cowboy Christmas,' the Fourth of July week is one of the busiest for rodeo cowboys and cowgirls. These competitors will travel thousands of miles within the week competing in multiple rodeos every day all across the country.

Enjoying a rodeo is the perfect way to spend your Fourth of July weekend. Rodeo is arguably the most patriotic sport in America. Every rodeo kicks off with the National Anthem and a prayer exercising our freedom and rights as Americans. Firework shows, shopping, dining, and more make the rodeo the place to be this 4th!

The Greeley Stampede - Greeley Colo.

June 26 through July 7 marks the 102nd annual Greeley Stampede. Located in Northeastern Colorado, the stampede has been a fourth of July favorite for decades. Rodeo contestants make sure to stop by Greeley as it is one of the highest paying rodeos of the week.

Fans get to enjoy the toughest rodeo action, concerts, parades, and more special events. In addition to the traditional rodeo performances, Greeley also offers an Xtreme Bulls performance, Heritage of Mexico Rodeo, and an American Bull Fighting event.
