Chris Joslin wasn't the only one to step to a 360 flip down El Toro. Adrien Bulard, who put down a backside tailslide down El Toro's 20-stair rail on our cover, also tried to 360 flip The Bull. Check out the whole story below:
"The news took the internet by storm and shook the skateboarding world last week: Chris Joslin stomped one of the gnarliest Tre flips ever on one of the most iconic spot, El Toro! Last December, our boy @AdrienBulardOfficiel-420wks went to California with a goal in mind: land another nbd at the sacred land, after the bs tailslide down the rail he landed back in 2018, which ended up on @TransWorldSKATEboarding cover, he wanted to leave his mark again, but on the stairs this time…unfortunately things don’t always go as planned, after a couple really close tries , Adrien got the boot from the school and when he got back for an ultimate attempt before flying back to France, the spot was completely fenced out, leaving Adrien helpless… Get behind the scenes of the El Toro Mission thanks to Ben Blancardi who made sure to document every minute of the trip… oh, and big congrats Chris !"
If you never saw Adrien's back tail, run back the clips and the photo:
A couple solid lands in there! Crazy he didn't roll away. Pretty interesting four-day mission there. Start off with a hike up to the Griffith Observatory and of course a meal at In-N-Out. Dude's not afraid of a battle. Watch that backside tailslide edit—some heavy slams and a broken board, but after a couple hours, Adrien put it down.
