Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez have been running Bronx Girls Skate, making skateboarding more accessible for girls and women for the last five years and counting. They've been featured in Time Out New York, Hypebae, you name it. The dynamic duo are constantly throwing and hosting skateboarding events all over the five boroughs.

This is the perfect organization, and group of women, to get their own Nike SB Dunk and spread their message. We're hyped to see this one—new photos just leaked via ComplexSneakers:

The details on these are on point: The "BXGS" on the bottom lace, the NY medallions on the heel, plus the "The Bronx, The World" on the outsolde, crossed fists on the inside embroidered, and—is that a chop cheese?! We hope so.

The insoles have some great quotes from Mel and Kava. The laces are also adorned with Bronx Girls Skate text. To bring it all full circle, the soles have subway trains and "BX GS" in a graffiti style text. Great job on the design. One of the sickest pairs of Dunks that'll drop this year. Congrats to Mel, Kava, and everyone involved.
