David Reyes is one of those skateboarders who’s always been in the mix, at least as far as I'm concerned. We're the same age, so he was always one of those kids I'd see in videos that made me feel as envious as I was inspired.
From the days of being a hungry am, to turning pro, to navigating the ups and downs that come with a life in skateboarding—he’s certainly seen it all. But through all the craziness and uncertainty, one thing has stayed consistent—his undeniable talent on a board.
In the latest MOB First from Mob Grip, David takes us back home to Denver, Colorado, to revisit the places and spots that shaped him during those early years. Dive in:
There’s always something special about watching a skater return to where it all started. Seeing all the cutty little spots where the tricks, style, and drive first came together. Denver isn’t just David's hometown—it’s where his wild ride in skateboarding began.
He's a certified Denver Park loc. He's a straight up 303 OG. He's traveled the world and always returns as a hometown hero. These days, David is looking as strong as ever and certainly isn’t the type to just take up a seat in the van without producing.
Take him any spot, and he’s going to skate it. Respect.
I've always been a fan of David—on and off the board—and love to see him still out there doing his thing. Keep stacking those clips and counting those miles, dude. We see you.
