Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long has been a major figure in skateboarding for over two decades and has always been one of my favs. From his City Stars days to the legacy he’s created with Baker and Emerica, he's easily one of the realest dudes in the game.

In fact, Spanky and Emerica are basically inseparable at this point. From his ripping video parts to multiple shoe drops, their partnership has been running strong for years, and we’re about to see another milestone with the release of Spanky’s third signature shoe—the KSLIII—marking a new chapter in his admirable career in this wild skateboarding world. Get your first look below.

What’s exciting about the KSLIII is how it stands apart from his past signature model shoes. The design feels familiar, but fresh, if that makes sense. And at first glance, it's the navy blue colorway that's really catching my eyes—those are rad. Spend a few seconds in the comments and it's clear that plenty of others agree.

Earlier this year, Spanky and Emerica dropped the Spanky Hi x Lottie with Mike Gigliotti, featuring a custom embroidered tongue graphic, insole artwork by Gigliotti, and a colorway that perfectly bridged Spanky’s timeless style and Lottie’s no-nonsense grit. They certainly weren't flashy, but that doesn’t mean every little detail still hits hard.

Just another win between Spanky and the OG skate shoe brand. Have you seen 'em? Tap the post below for a closer look (and a ripping edit they dropped in support).

Look for the KSLIII at your local shop September 4th, along with all the latest Emerica offerings. The brand has been on fire this year. Just can’t beat some good old fashioned skate shoes, you know?

More importantly, we love seeing Spanky out in the streets staying productive as ever! The dude knows how to have some fun on his board, and it shows.
