If you follow Miles Silvas on Instagram (you definitely should either way), you've probably noticed he's been rocking the new Tekkira Cup by adidas Skateboarding a bunch lately. It makes sense, too—it's like this shoe was designed for him.

It's stylish and with new drops like you'll see below, there's an color option for just about anyone out there. But aside from the look of the shoe, Miles is really making one thing clear—these things are solid skate shoes, built to take on all the wear and tear needed for modern day skateboarding. Take a look:

I have no problem believing the Tekkira Cup will stick around in the Three Stripes lineup for seasons to come. Personally, I've heard nothing but good things about them and although I've said it before, I'll say it again—this is exactly what a skate shoe should look like in 2025. The times have changed. Low-profile vulcanized shoes are becoming more and more of a thing of the past.

Don't get me wrong, though—I'll skate (or at least try) just about everything. But these days, tech is king and we're seeing more and more cupsoles hitting shoe walls all the same. The Tekkira Cup is the full package.

Not to get too off topic here, but being from San Diego, I will say this specific colorway may be a little too SF Giants for me. But hey, that's neither here nor there! They're clean, minimal, yet somehow eye-catching. And the attention to detail can be seen in every stitch.

Anyways, I'd say the shoe has quietly become one of adidas Skateboarding’s strongest offerings, and with each new colorway, it sort of gets harder and harder to pass up. Should we all try some!? Simple, clean, skate-ready—that’s the formula. Boom.
