With Skateshop Day 2025 right around the corner, this milestone truly couldn't come at a better time.

Orchard Skateshop has been serving the Boston skateboarding scene for 19 years and what they've accomplished over the past nearly two decades is nothing short of remarkable. They're truly as real as it gets, and we're stoked to be celebrating with them.

They cut up a short but sweet highlight reel sharing some memories from the past 19 years below. The nostalgia is real! Check it out:

"On February 11th 2006 we opened up the doors to our little clubhouse on Mission Hill with the goal of serving the Boston skateboarding scene to the best of our ability," Orchard wrote. "19 years later the family has grown exponentially but the goal remains the same. It has been an honor and absolute pleasure to serve the community, and we're looking forward to many more years ahead of doing the same!"

They also had some other big news to share:

"We are incredibly excited to announce that we'll be moving back to our old neighborhood of Allston in the spring of 2025 with a proper flagship storefront and event space! Stay posted for details by following us on IG or subscribing to the email list."

As a small business, 19 years of success is no small feat. But as a skate shop!? Yeah, that's seriously incredible. When people talk about skate shops being pillars of their community, Orchard is one of the best examples. What they've done and continue to do for Boston skateboarding is something to admire.
