The Vans Old Skool is such a timeless skate shoe, so it's really no surprise it's been reimagined countless times over the years.

At times, they absolutely hit. Other times, they're worth a debate. But their latest Premium Old Skool colorway comes courtesy of Argentinian ripper, Tania Cruz. These things are sick! And they're pushing this classic silhouette into a new realm of radness, if you ask me. Get a closer look below.

Tania's Old Skool is "built with rub-away leather that subtly changes color as the top black layer is worn off to reveal the red underneath, premium build with soft leather + contrasting stitching, and sustainable construction, with regenerative rubber outsoles and LWG-certified leather," Vans mentioned on Instagram.

Long story short—these things are bound to look better the more you skate them. Rad!

The "LWG-certified leather" also means the shoes were mindfully designed. So they're stylish, sure, but I admire that Vans and Tania are working with sustainable materials all the same.

If you're unfamiliar with Tania's skating, you should give her a follow on Instagram (@tania.jcruz). Raw, gritty and stylish, she skates with that rare blend of attitude and finesse. And we're stoked to see her getting some well-deserved shine with drops like this. I mean, getting your own personalized Vans is a pretty big deal.

Anyways, this new Vans Premium Old Skool from Tania is proof that timeless design can still surprise us. And although we've seen this rub-away leather concept a few other times in recent months, it doesn't take away from the fact that it's a super stylish design choice.

No pair will ever look the same.

Look for Tania's Old Skool at your local shop or Vans retailers. These are limited and won't be around forever, so if you're on the fence, jump off and get there. Congrats, Tania!
