This past weekend, Chris Roberts, Kelly Hart, Jeron Wilson, and Roger Bagley took The Nine Club from the studio to the streets with the first-ever Nine Club Classic.

The event went down at the legendary West Los Angeles Courthouse, and for one full day, the plaza was booming with cash-for-tricks chaos, free giveaways, good music, and a vibe that felt like a mix between a classic backyard jam and a proper pro demo. It was one hell of an inaugural event, that's for sure. Take a look:

It was rad to hear Chris, Kelly, and Jeron break down what it meant to finally host their own event after years of celebrating skateboarding from behind the mic.

They've been hinting at doing something like this for years, and judging from the turnout, the Nine Club Classic might just become an annual LA tradition.

As always, the Cash For Tricks event went off. Between your favorite pros and some hungry hometown heroes, there was no shortage of ripping going down all day long. And between the tricks and cash, the crew kept the vibes high with music, plenty of skate banter, and tons of random giveaways.

If you haven't yet, hit play on the video above to catch the highlights, hear from the hosts, and relive the day’s best moments from one of skateboarding’s most iconic plazas. Huge congrats to The Nine Club on a successful first event.

Should we expect more? I'd say that's probably a hard yes. Until next time.
