Vans x 2 Riser Pads Drop an All-Blue Skate Old Skool and Hit Osaka to Celebrate

Vans recently teamed up with 2 Riser Pads for an all-blue reimagining of the iconic Skate Old Skool and they're officially available today, December 4th.

To celebrate, Nick Michel, Colin Brophy, Jed Anderson, Logan McSteel, Stafhon Boca and Diego Todd took a trip to Osaka, Japan, and tore through the streets in the exact same way you'd expect that crew to do. No, seriously... these dudes absolutely killed it!

"2riserpads team falls in love with Osaka Japan for the all blue Vans shoe," 2 wrote on YouTube. "Thank you!" Peep the edit:

"First introduced in 1977 as Style 36, the original Old Skool was the first skate shoe to feature Vans’ signature Sidestripe and incorporate leather panels for increased durability. The Old Skool instantly became a favorite among skateboarders for its understated style, proven grip and lasting quality," Vans mentioned on its site.

This limited-edition Skate Old Skool also features a pebbled, matte-blue leather upper, wear-away rubber foxing, and a Ghillie Lacing System for ultimate shoelace protection. Don't ask me what all of that means, but I'll tell you what—that wear-away rubber is too sick.
