Wilton Souza came out swinging earlier this year with his debut Zero part and gave us all a great taste of what this dude was all about. Like many others, I wasn’t too familiar with Wilton beforehand, but he’s definitely one of those dudes who lets his skating do the talking.
Zero just dropped a video of raw clips from Wilton’s intro part that are certainly worth a watch. Slams, close calls, makes and more—I love raw clips and always appreciate getting a closer look at the battles that make these incredible video parts what they are. Take a look:
While his part was undeniably impressive, my admiration for Wilton is amplified after seeing some of these raw clips. This dude seems to be constantly putting it all on the line and skates some seriously heavy spots with an insane amount of ease. Style, power, and a deep bag of tricks—Wilton gets it.
Holding a legit spot on the Zero roster is no small feat, either. Like all respected squads in skateboarding, you really have to prove yourself out in the streets and genuinely earn your spot in the van. But as we see, Wilton constantly provides. No spot is safe. If he’s on the session, clips will get stacked.
Should we expect a pro board from Wilton in the near future? Hmmm, hard to say right now. I know there are a handful of dudes on the team who might be waiting in that same line, but only time will tell. At any rate, hop in the van and get in on some of the sessions that made his intro part what it was.
Raw clips always hit different, and these were no exception. Zero or die.
