At Arizona Snowbowl, the ski season will stick around for a little longer.
The ski area is extending its season thanks to early-season snowmaking and grooming efforts and solid March snowfall.
In a four-day season extension, the mountain will now be open for a bonus weekend from May 2 to May 5.

With 175 inches of total snowfall this season and another 8 inches in the forecast for April 18 and 19, winter isn't ready to call it quits just yet.
During the extended weekend operations, the Arizona Gondola will spin from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No beginner terrain will be accessible. The Agassiz Lodge and 9500' Bar will be open for the weekend to offer food and beverages.
Ticket prices start at $19 online and include $10 in Bowls Bucks, which can be used for food, beverages, or retail items at resort-owned retailers. Those prices could increase in the coming days, though—Arizona Snowbowl adjusts the cost of its lift tickets based on demand.
Season passes for the 2025/26 season at Arizona Snowbowl are also now on sale with limited early-bird pricing through April 25, and those who purchase a 2025/26 season pass can use it immediately as part of the ski area's "Buy Now, Ski Now" offer.
In 2024, Arizona Snowbowl remained open until June 1 for the first time in its history after receiving nearly 300 inches of seasonal snowfall, 55 of which fell in April alone.
The ski area is just 14 miles north of Flagstaff, Arizona, in the San Francisco Peaks. It offers 777 skiable acres and 2,800 feet of vertical serviced by eight lifts.
