Ski season's not over yet, even for the Grand Canyon State!
After extending their season once already, Arizona's favorite (and largest) ski area just announced that you can keep skiing until the middle of May.
Despite only getting 193" of snow for the season, which is lower than average, a combination of early season snowmaking effort, quality grooming, high March snowfall totals, and continued cold temperatures, Arizona Snowbowl will now be open for their previously announced bonus weekend from May 2-5 as well as two more bonus weekends.
Additional bonus weekends will take place May 10-11 and May 17-18. With all the extra days, AZ Snowbowl will end it's 2024/25 season having been open for 179 skiable days. Impressive for a state that's not necessarily known for its skiing.
During these bonus weekends, only the Arizona Gondola will be open from 10am-4pm, which means no beginner terrain will be accessible. Terrain park features will stay open and accessible on the Log Jam trail as well, keeping spring park laps an option for all of Arizona's jibbiest skiers. The Snowbowl's Aggasiz Lodge and 9500' will be open and serving food and drinks throughout all of the mountain's bonus days.

Not only are these bonus weekends helping Arizona Snowbowl claim it's spot as one of the latest resorts to close in the US, but with the spring ticket deals they're offering, it's also one of the most affordable.
For all three bonus weekends, lift tickets will start at just $19 when purchased online and include $10 of Bowl Bucks, which are redeemable at the Aggasiz Lodge and 9500' Bar, or any other resort owned outlets for food, drinks, retail items, or equipment rentals, which also start at $19 online.
Kids under 12 ski for free at Arizona Snowbowl not just during bonus weekends, but all season long.
