As one of the more secretive brands in the industry, Faction surprised us today by dropping their entire 2025 collection of skis. The new collection still includes all of our favorite models, and introduces an expanded freestyle-oriented Studio Series and an updated twin-tip freeride Prodigy line. It’s pretty rad to see the Swiss brand making one of the broadest-reaching lineups of freeride skis, from park-specific jib sticks, to FWT-capable freeride machines, to ultra-wide surfy pow planks, to progressive ski mountaineering shapes. If you like having fun on skis, there’s surely something for you here. We sure look forward to testing some of the new sticks once the snow starts falling!

Some of our absolute favorite backcountry touring skis ever made–the heavy-duty Agent and featherweight La Machine series–remain mostly unchanged save for some updated topsheet art. The flat-tailed freeride-focused Dancer Series also gets colorway and artwork updates. All of the new Dancer models except for the Dancer 4 now uniquely feature a primary and alternate colorway, with a full run of ski lengths for each, making these skis a true unisex offering with identical construction in both colors.
The Studio Series freestyle line sees a significant expansion, adding three new waist widths, with some trippy artwork by Parade Studio. Finally, the athlete-favored Prodigy series gets a slight construction update with reinforced rubber & carbon underfoot to increase durability. Additionally, Faction is unveiling the new Prodigy Capsule, three models with special hand-illustrated artworks by Colorado-based artist and skier Elsa Grace, which showcase distinct North American bioregions.
Faction is B Corp Certified, and all ski models feature locally-sourced raw materials to reduce carbon emissions from manufacturing logistics, as well as construction that features recycled materials in topsheets, bases, and sidewalls. Most of Faction’s products are built in a fully renewable-energy powered factory in Austria.
