Arizona Snow Bowl, AZ, is forecasting up to 6 inches by tomorrow morning, and an additional 3 inches throughout Friday.

It has been a strong season for the resort. Just one month ago, Arizona Snowbowl received more than 100 inches of snow and opened 100% of their terrain.

Ian Greenwood reported on this season's weather patterns at Arizona Snow Bowl in an article detailing one of their larger storms earlier in the season, explaining that during El Niño winters, the Southwest typically experiences colder and wetter weather—the perfect recipe for powder days.

Then, just days after the 2 feet came down, AZ Snow Bowl saw almost 5 feet of snow from the storm.

Current conditions at Arizona Snow Bowl today are thundersnow, with a temperature of 21 degrees F and a base depth of 54 inches.

With 52/55 trails open, these numbers are close to being fully open at the resort, and may raise with the incoming storm.

The snow showers will continue this week, with the weather clearing up over the weekend to be partly cloudy Saturday and Sunday.
