There's popular skis, and then there's cult-level skis. For the last few years, Head's KORE series has occupied the latter space for discerning freeride skiers, offering an extremely powerful and damp ride at a surprisingly light weight, favored by competition skiers and hard-charging resort rats. For the upcoming '25/'26 winter season, Head Skis has completely revamped the KORE line, with a new construction (and the inclusion of titanal metal sheets, hence the new KORE Ti name) and updated shapes.

Along with the new skis, Head also launched their first Dual-BOA boot, the Kaliber, and an updated line of buckle-only KORE freeride boots. Additionally, Head subsidiary Tyrolia launched their first hybrid freetouring binding, the Tyrolia Attack Hybrid.

The impressively broad new KORE Ti line features a full run of unisex waist widths: the KORE Ti 118, KORE Ti 112, KORE Ti 106, KORE Ti 100, KORE Ti 94, and KORE Ti 88. On top of that, there are women's models including the KORE Ti 104 W, KORE Ti 99 W, KORE Ti 93 W, and the KORE Ti 87 W. Finally, there's a limited-edition Porsche 106 Series Freeride Ski that shares the shape of the KORE Ti 106.

Compared to the much-loved previous KORE series, the main difference lies in the core construction. The outgoing skis relied heavily on graphene and other fibrous materials to provide a damp ride feel at a low weight, but the new KORE Ti skis add in two layers of Titanal to stiffen up and further dampen the ski without adding noticeable extra weight. The unisex skis feature a Karuba and Beech core, while the women's models are built around a Poplar wood and PET core. Finally, the ski's new topsheet is made with flax to reduce chipping and damage, and add additional damping properties. In other words, the entire line of skis isn't just stiff and powerful, it's expressly designed to mute vibrations at all costs.

On the boot front, Head is debuting a new Dual-BOA resort boot called the Kaliber. These offer the same double BOA dial fit system we've seen across the industry from other brands, where both the upper cuff and lower half of the boot are closed using large BOA dials and cables. Despite being advertised as a medium volume boot, the Kaliber is built around a 98mm last. The line includes various men's and women's fit and flex options, from a pro-level 130/140 all the way down to an entry-level 95.

Additionally, Head is debuting a new line of KORE freeride boots, that feature an external-lever walk mode and tech fittings for backcountry use. These are offered in both low-volume 96mm lasts and medium-volume 98mm lasts and range from 130 flex to 95.
