To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Wyoming, is selling $60 lift tickets for December 19, 2025.
The tickets are available while supplies last and, at the time of writing this, haven’t sold out—odds are good they’ll go quick, though.
Compared to the other dates at Jackson Hole in December, which top out at $285 during the holidays, the 60th anniversary tickets present a steep discount (about 79%) and are one of the cheapest ways to ski at the Wyoming destination all season without buying a pass.
On December 19, Jackson Hole is also hosting live music, a retro costume party on the Tram Dock from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and a block party.
December 19 wasn’t chosen at random. It’s the date, in 1965, when Jackson Hole first opened with access to Après Vous Mountain. Since then, the ski resort has become one of North America’s best-known mountains, with 2,500 acres of in-bounds terrain and numerous lifts.
Alongside the 60th anniversary kick-off date, a slew of other events are on the calendar. The famous huck fest Kings and Queens of Corbet’s is back, scheduled between February 8 and February 15, 2026. Ski in Jeans, the self-explanatory skiing holiday, is on December 5. The ski resort plans to open on November 28, 2025.
As the 2025-26 season approaches, Jackson Hole isn’t the only resort slinging lift ticket deals.
While dynamic pricing has resulted in some astronomically high ticket prices in the past, it benefits those willing to plan in advance. Brian Head Resort, Utah, for instance, still has lift tickets available for less than $20. At Arizona Snowbowl, which coincidentally sold mid-season lift tickets in 2023 for over $300, you can score a day on the mountain for $10 on some dates.
Individual lift tickets, of course, are usually the least economical way to go skiing. If you want to notch multiple days during the season, you should probably buy a pass. Still, a few ticket specials are out there—you just need to snap them up before everyone else.
