Lindsey Vonn wore two different dresses during the 2025 ESPYs on Wednesday night, and the U.S. Olympic legend may have decided to change after a wardrobe malfunction.
Vonn was first spotted on the red carpet at the ESPYs wearing a black dress with a large slit. At one point while Vonn was posing for photos, a gust of wind came along. The dress was already revealing, but the wind resulted in Vonn showing off more than she wanted to.
As Kelsey Stewart of Page Six noted, Vonn’s younger sister Karin Kildow quickly swooped in to save Lindsey from embarrassment.

Vonn, who was nominated for Best Comeback Athlete following her return to competitive skiing last year, later changed into a long silver dress. It is possible she was planning to wear multiple dresses anyway.
The 40-year-old Vonn joined Lamar Jackson in presenting the award for Best Play, which was won by Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley.
Vonn is a three-time Olympic medalist. She won a gold medal in the downhill event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
