As is often the case, Pacific Northwest skiers have seen it all this winter. Wind, rain, heavy snow—when you head out in the mountains across Washington and Oregon, it's best to be prepared for the best or worst. If you ask a local, they'll probably tell you that's part of the fun. Gore-Tex, after all, was invented for a reason.

Now, with the arrival of spring, the end of the lift-accessed ski season is in sight. These are the projected closing dates for ski resorts across the Pacific Northwest. All dates are subject to weather and conditions. They may change.

49 Degrees North, Washington: TBD (beyond May 5)

Bluewood, Washington: March 30

Crystal Mountain, Washington: May 26

Hoodoo Ski Area, Oregon: April 27

Hurricane Ridge, Washington: March 30

Loup Loup, Washington: Already closed

Mission Ridge, Washington: April 27

Mt. Ashland Ski Area, Oregon: April 27

Mt. Bachelor, Oregon: May 26

Mt. Baker Ski Area, Washington: April 20

Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon: May 3

Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, Oregon: April 13

Mt. Spokane, Washington: April 13

Stevens Pass, Washington: April 13

Summit at Snoqualmie, Washington: TBD beyond April 20
