Later this week, Mt. Hood will transform into a multi-sport paradise when the bike park at Timberline Lodge, Oregon, opens for the summer.
Weather permitting, the bike park will open on Wednesday, July 9th. The park will operate Wednesdays through Sundays from 10:30 am-5:00 pm, and until 7:00 pm on Fridays.
Timberline's bike park has day tickets available for $50 for adults and $40 for kids aged 12 and under. Season passes are also available for $249, and as part of the Dirt Alliance, pass holders also receive two free bike park days at Mt. Bachelor, Grand Targhee, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, and Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Timberline will keep guests updated on trail conditions and openings as opening day approaches.

The Timberline bike park has two green beginner trails, a handful of both technical and more freeride-oriented blue trails, and several technical black trails accessed via the Jeff Flood Express lift.
The mountain offers lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders as well as a series of 3-day youth bike camps throughout the summer season. Riders participating in camps or lessons must have some previous bike experience.
Alongside Timberline's Bike Park, Timberline Lodge recently confirmed that the mountain is expected to stay open for skiing well into August.
As of now, the mountain is hoping to keep its ski lifts spinning through August 20th, weather dependent. Magic Mile and Palmer are both currently open daily from 7 am until 2 pm and bring skiers and riders to enjoy summer turns on the Palmer Snowfield. Magic Mile and Palmer are both above Jeff Flood Express, which accesses the bike park.
