Search and Rescue crews in Colorado are looking for a 26-year-old man that went missing at Vail Mountain.

Denver resident Connor Gill went missing on Friday morning (February 15, 2025). His last ski pass scan was at 8:50 a.m. at Vail’s Avanti Express chairlift, according to Summit Daily. He was reported missing to ski patrol by a friend on Friday afternoon. Ski patrollers started their search on Friday, and continued it through the night on Saturday.

Vail Mountain Rescue joined in on Saturday mid-morning. Dogs were used in the search, and drones were used after high winds and heavy snowfall subsided.

"The team from Vail Mountain Rescue and Vail Ski Patrol initiated their response based on the party's last known location and knowing the area commonly rode by the missing individual,” the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Sunday afternoon.

Gill was last seen wearing an orange jacket and pants with a grey helmet and riding a Salomon snowboard, CBS News reports. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and is considered an intermediate snowboarder.
