With two weeks to go until the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, snow sports enthusiasts are being treated to a three-day appetizer with the return of the Winter X Games this weekend.

For the 25th straight year, the Winter X Games will take place at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. However, X Games fans will see some noticeable changes this year, particularly a new league-based format. For the first time in five years, snowmobiling is also set to make a return, in addition to some familiar skiing and snowboarding events.
