On the latest episode of The Bomb Hole's Group Chat, olympian Sage Kotsenburg drops a hot take that may not be favored by the actual athletes doing the contest, but it sure would be fun to watch. When discussing Big Air contests, Sage thinks that the jump should be bigger, expanding to 100 or 110 feet.

In general, snowboarders and fans of snowboarding tend to question the level of acceleration and progression with a cynical mind towards the 'spin to win' tactic. Sage's opinion may be controversial because of this and also because the dangers that lie within making the big air jump bigger, however, he does counter his argument not by saying that he wants a bigger jump to see more crazy spins, but to see tricks like a switch back rodeo.

This post conjured up comments from some of the big dogs of the sport, including the following:

"Agreed. Bring back the meat!!" - Travis Rice

"Bring back gaps. Straight up n down walls, nothing in the middle except broken dreams, gaps." - Todd Richards

"agreed. Go bigger for the money booter @xgames" - Bjorn Leines
