Shaun White has teamed up with some pretty iconic riders in his Team USA days, from Danny Kass to Scotty Lago to Toby Miller.

On July 30, 2025, however, the country will watch him team up with a duo your auntie probably considers iconic: the Property Brothers.

White teamed up with brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott for the television show Celebrity IOU. The shows allows Hollywood A-listers the chance to express gratitude to those who’ve made a major impact on their life by surprising them with a renovation. The episode White is featured on is titled “Shaun White Goes for Reno Gold.” The show will air on HGTV at 8 p.m. EST.

“Shaun White takes a break from the slopes to surprise his childhood best friend with a renovation of his new home; with Jonathan and Drew, the three upgrade the dated kitchen and living room to create minimalist sophistication,” the episode summary on IMDb.com says.

The show is in its 10th season. Previous guests for the season have included Tyra Banks, Josh Gad, Joel McHale, and Jane Seymour.

It’s been a busy off-season for White. Earlier this summer, he appeared on an episode of SoFi Bank’s Richer Lives YouTube series, where he talked about competing in the Olympics, investing in Mammoth Mountain, starting The Snow League, and crashing expensive cars.

He’s also been at Mount Hood, as he helped open up a new airbag training site at High Cascade snowboard camp.

White’s newest competitive halfpipe league has been particularly busy this summer. Earlier, it announced that freeskiing superstar Eileen Gu had signed on with The Snow League to not only compete, but serve as a global ambassador. The league has also released its first round of in-depth performance data from the inaugural weekend in Aspen. The data breaks down things like total grab percentage, the aplitude of each hit, and percentage of each rotation by riders.

The data will be used in a few ways. Primarily, it will help engage fans, and allow newcomers to better understand snowboarding. It will also help riders analyze the field to push their own performance, and open the door to data insights that haven’t been explored in winter sports. It can also help the judges put into perspective just how difficult certain spins or grabs are.
