Last year, we saw Union Binding Company launch a boot division and put its first footwear on the market. Next, the company has changed the way riders can hike in them.
The newest version of the Reset Pro will feature a Vibram outsole and midsole when it is released to the public in the fall of 2026. The ingredient brand adds increased traction and better energy return underfoot.
“This system was developed to provide confidence in every step you take towards your next summit,” a social media post from Union said.
The current iteration of the Reset Pro has a natural rubber outsole to help maintain grip.
The Reset Pro snowboard boot was designed in collaboration with team rider Travis Rice. The boot is the first from the brand that typically only makes bindings. A rebound bushing system absorbs impact and helps riders with foot fatigue, and the Forma Pro memory foam liner offers more comfort and support. It has an Ortholite footbed and heat-reflective foil to retain warmth. It features a dual-zone BOA fit system with an H4 coiler for more precise adjustability.
Martino Fumagalli, the founder and CEO of Union, has said in the past that his family previously owned a shoe business, making his foray into snowboard boots rather fitting.
“Snowboard boots were part of my life long before Union came to be, and bringing that heritage full circle with the Union Boot Division is a personal milestone,” he said in a press release. “Our commitment to quality and innovation ensures that every rider experiences the same passion that has driven me since my start in snowboarding.”
The boot is available in men’s sizes 7 through 12.5, though it will be listed in European sizing, so get that conversion chart ready. The 2026 release will include two new models of the boot.
