The summer transfer window ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season is heating up, and a number of high-profile names are edging closer to the exit door. From frustrated strikers to aging icons and breakout talents seeking the next step, here are ten Premier League players most likely to leave this summer—and where they could end up.

1. Alexander Isak (Newcastle → Liverpool?)

Newcastle are bracing for a huge offer from Liverpool, reportedly in excess of £130 million, per The Times. The Swedish striker scored 21 Premier League goals last season and is viewed by Anfield as a long-term solution to the striker problem with Darwin Nunez on the chopping block.

2. Luis Díaz (Liverpool → Bayern, Barcelona, or Saudi Arabia)

Liverpool have made their stance clear—they will only sell if the offer exceeds €80 million. Both Bayern Munich and Barcelona are circling, but clubs in the Saudi Pro League are also aggressively pursuing the Colombian winger, who still has two years left on his deal.

3. Darwin Núñez (Liverpool → AC Milan, Saudi, or Atlético Madrid)

With Arne Slot reshaping Liverpool’s attack, Darwin could be one of the casualties. Reports suggest he’s already on the radar of AC Milan, Atlético Madrid, and Saudi clubs, who would pay a premium for the 25-year-old forward despite his inconsistency.

4. Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa → Manchester United or Saudi Arabia)

Financial Fair Play concerns may force Aston Villa to sell. Martínez remains highly rated and has drawn interest from Manchester United, who see him as a long-term replacement option. Saudi clubs have also made exploratory contact.

5. Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea → AC Milan, Aston Villa, or Saudi Arabia)

Despite a solid end to last season, Jackson is not guaranteed a starting role under Enzo Maresca. With Chelsea linked to several new forwards, the £30m-rated striker could be moved. AC Milan and Aston Villa are watching closely.

6. Casemiro (Manchester United → Flamengo or Saudi Arabia)

United want him off their wage bill, and Brazilian side Flamengo are leading the race to take him on loan. A permanent move to Saudi Arabia also remains on the table, with Casemiro likely to leave Old Trafford either way.

7. Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United → Chelsea or Abroad)

One of the most shocking potential exits of the window. Garnacho has been linked with Chelsea, who reportedly made inquiries during initial talks for other players. Frustrated with reduced playing time, the 21-year-old could push for a move.

8. Marcus Rashford (Manchester United → Aston Villa or Abroad)

Rashford is reportedly available for around £40m as United seek to rebuild their squad. He’s fallen down the pecking order, and a move to Aston Villa—either on loan or permanently—could help reignite his career.

9. Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace → Spurs, Liverpool, or Bayern)

The England international is refusing to extend his deal, meaning Palace are now open to selling. Spurs, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich are all monitoring the situation, with a fee of at least £50 million expected.

10. Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea → Bayern, Manchester United, or PSG)

After an injury-riddled first season, Nkunku is considered surplus to requirements at Chelsea. Bayern Munich have made contact, while Manchester United and PSG have been long-term admirers. A return to the Bundesliga seems most likely, where Nkunku was once Player of the Season.
