There are still twelve Inter Milan players in training, and they will link up with the Under-23 team for a friendly against Padova.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

The first international break of the season is currently ongoing.

Therefore, that means that a good chunk of Inter’s squad is currently away with their national teams.

However, not all the players have received call-ups. Therefore, Inter coach Cristian Chivu is still working with a total of twelve players during the break.

As Tuttosport note, all of Yann Sommer, Josep Martinez, Raffaele Di Gennaro, Yann Bisseck, Francesco Acerbi, Tomas Palacios, Matteo Darmian, Carlos Augusto Luis Henrique, Andy Diouf, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Ange-Yoan Bonny are at Chivu’s disposal.

12 Senior Inter Players Link Up With U23 Squad For Padova Friendly

Meanwhile, Inter’s Under-23 team are also currently working with the senior team.

This is a chance for the younger players to learn from their more senior counterparts.

As Tuttosport note, Inter will play a behind-closed-doors friendly against Padova today.

And this match will give Chivu a chance to both observe the senior players not on international duty, but also see them alongside the Under-23 team.
