7-G/A in 8 matches: Tottenham 'tracking' striker who has 'massively stood out' with his displays

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Kosovo striker Fisnik Asllani from Hoffenheim. 

The 23-year-old has done quite well for the German club this season, and he has seven goal contributions in eight appearances across all competitions. He is highly rated across Europe, and several clubs are keen on him. 

Multiple Premier League clubs are tracking him, and Tottenham are one of the interested parties, as per TBR. They will face competition from the Spanish champions, Barcelona, as well. 

Fisnik Asllani is in demand

Graeme Bailey revealed on TBR: “Asllani is a player who has massively stood out via analytics, but scouts are also purring about him.

“Barcelona have been hugely impressed but they are not alone, the English clubs and others are now fully aware of him and are tracking him now.

“Asllani is a name we are going to be hearing a lot more about.”

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham follow up on their interest with an official offer to get the deal done. They need a quality striker, especially with the way Dominic Solanke has performed. The England international has not been able to find the back of the net consistently. 

Signing the talented young Kosovo International could prove to be a wise decision. He has the quality to do well in English football, and he could develop into a key player with the right guidance. 

Asllani could fancy Spurs move
