AC Milan have made a move for Juventus’ Vlahović, according to Calciomercato. New Rossoneri manager Massimiliano Allegri reportedly views the 25-year-old Serbia international as his “favorite” option to bolster the attack.
However, for a deal to happen, Vlahović would likely need to lower his current €12 million per season salary. Further discussions between the two clubs are expected to take place “in the coming days.”
A previous report from GIVE ME SPORT says Tottenham might have a chance to sign Vlahović at a bargain price this summer. Juventus are said to be willing to let the Serbian striker go for as little as £20 million, as he continues to struggle to find his best form. Vlahović has reportedly shown interest in starting fresh in the Premier League.
While Juventus would prefer closer to £35 million, they understand they may have to accept a lower fee to move him on. The club is actively looking for a buyer, which could push the price down if Tottenham or another team makes a serious offer.
Tottenham is keeping a close eye on the situation and could increase their interest in the coming weeks. Despite not living up to expectations since joining Juventus, Vlahović is still seen as a player with plenty of potential, the report adds.
